The multi reel Meltech machines are
designed for continuous production of data communications
and LAN cables, general wiring and heat shrink and
wire tubing applications. They offer accurate winding
profiles, enabling a smoother pay-off for faster operation
without risk of tangles and snags.
 Offering speeds up
to 1,500 metre per minute, the coiling and winding machines provide improved winding control,
layering, and speed and length control at point of
changeover, compared with manual winding. Available
in drum sizes from 400mm to 1,600mm, the Meltech machines
can be readily integrated within an existing wire production
line.
Meltech's proprietary control technology
calculates the precise tensioning of the wire during
winding.
The control system also features a selection of manufacturer
specific ‘recipes’ based on winding pitch
settings, drum sizes and optimum layering patterns.
 The
winding and coiling machines are available in both
semi and fully automated operation.
